While other companies may be pre-occupied with private party tows or impounding, we have a dedicated recovery division with trucks that are on the road assigned for one thing, collateral recovery. Repossession work is our specialty, anywhere from first placement, charge off, impounds, or anything in between. Our mission is to provide our clients with quick, efficient, and safe asset recovery, while adhering to all Federal, State, and Local laws concerning a  repossession.

Our team is trained on all compliance standards and we make it a priority to stay current and educated with the ever changing world of compliance. We only hire the most outstanding recovery agents, and require all of our agents to be CARS Certified. Howard’s Recovery utilized the latest investigative techniques, state of the art communications technology, and equipment which allows us the ability to quickly retrieve your collateral. On top of our own in-house system – Clearplan for logistics, we also use Recovery Database Network (RDN) in order to stay completely accessible to our clients. Howard’s Recovery strives to be the innovator of latest recovery techniques; we are one of the first in the country to utilize LPR Camera technology. Powered by Digital Recognition Network (DRN) we can scan an average of 2,000,000 plates per month and as a result, we are able to recover collateral for our clients where most other agencies have failed.

Enhanced Technology

Specialized Towing utilizes the newest technologies available to the industry. We currently scan 5 million tags per month for DRN which gives us a massive amounts of tag historical information in our markets Specialized Towing is currently running 10 DRN-equipped Ford camera trucks and 15 DRN-equipped Toyota Prius camera cars We utilize Clearplan for team routing We utilize the Slack application for team communication. All of our employees undergo annual repossession related continuing education classes provided by VTS.

Specialized Towing has their management team attend yearly seminars to stay up to date on the ever changing laws that govern our industry. All employees adhere to the FDCPA and GLBA and are monitored to ensure that those practices are maintained. Copies of current licenses and insurance documentation are always available. All compliance requirements are monitored by VTS (Vendor Transparency Solutions).
